*K2, P2 ribbing for about an inch.
*K around for 5 rnds.
*Join Orange and K for 5 rnds.
*Join White and K for 5 rnds.
*Repeat black, orange, white again (5 rnds each color).
*Join Black and K until about 6.5 inches (hubby likes them a little longer)
Now I began my decreasing.

Halloween Wreath

So, I was thinking we needed a little something for our front door. This is what I came up with:
It's made from yarn, Elmer's glue, a circle cut from a diaper box, black pipe cleaners, a glue gun, and some orange squeeze paint. Love it!

True Blood Swap

So, I am participating in the TB swap on Ravelry. I cannot wait to see who has me as their stalkee...errr...swapee!
We had to fill out a survey so our swapee would know about us and know what kinds of things we like...who's team we are on (Eric!/Bill/Alcide/etc). I thought I would post a few more tidbits about myself here to help them out...if they read this, that is. (will keep adding as I think of stuff)

~I love to read. Bookmarks would be great.
~Love coffee. Starbucks is yummy. So is hot chocolate
~Love cooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking...all when I get the chance of course.
~Three kids. 5,3,1...We homeschool.
~We have a tuxedo kitty: Gizmo. A border collie: Bristol Talladega, 2birds: Smokey & Chattanooga.
~NASCAR fans here! Go #11 Denny Hamlin & #88 Dale Jr. #18 is my sons favorite.

~I love anything that has skulls on it...jewelry, shirts, scarves, purses, etc.
~Candles make me happy. Vanilla is #1 favorite scent..along with Christmas cookie.
~I mainly crocheted up until recently. Knitting is more my thing now. Could always use some circulars or dpns in any size.
~I love to draw. I'm always doodling on something.

~I haven't read Dead Reckoning. (I have Dead in the Family on hard copy. Would love the other books as well.)

Toes Up Socks

Just submitted my 2nd challenge project to Nerd Wars T3. I crocheted some toe-up socks for Buffy's birthday! Well, really they are for me. Been planning on making them for a while now.

The Gentlemen Need 7 Hearts

I'm part of the Nerd Wars on Ravelry and our first challenges have been posted.
I didn't get Team Bite Me, like I hoped...I got Team Hellmouth(Buffy). Which is still okay with me. So, I was trying to figure out my first project and thought about the episode "Hush" and the Gentlemen.
I decided to crochet an anatomically correct heart. The Gentlemen need 7 hearts to live and only a human scream can kill them. I submitted this for the Technical:Colortastic challenge. The pattern can be found on Ravelry here.
