Link to Old Blog

I finally remembered my login stuff for my old blog I haven't been on in forever...I didn't want to delete it because it has memories of my boys on it. I may eventually move everything over or just leave it there.

Hello Kitty Scarf-Finished

Here is the completed scarf. I added some of the bright pink, from the bow, around the edges because I thought it needed something. And also a paw print on the oppisite end of the scarf.

WIP-scarf

I'm working on a hello kitty scarf for my mom. I hope she likes it. I didnt think I had any black for the scarf itself but I finally found some.
Scarf pattern is by Teresa on Learn to Crochet
For the h.k. face, I just made a chain slightly smaller than the width of the scarf, sc in 2nd chain from hook and each chain across.
Then I ch1, and increased (2sc in same stitch)at the beginning and end of the row for a few rows.
I then sc each row evenly through row 10.
Once I got to row 11, I made a sc2tog/scdec at the beginning and end of the row for a few rows.
This was all made up in my head so there are a few things I would like to change next time.

Ears: join yarn on the top a few sts left of center. ch1 & sc next 7 sts. (7sc total)
Ch1, turn. Sc2tog/scdec 2sts, sc next 3 sts, sc2tog/scdec last 2 sts. (5 sc total)
Ch1, turn. Sc2tog/scdec 2sts, sc next st, sc2tog last 2 sts. (3sc total)
Ch1, turn. Sc2tog, sc last st. (2sc total)
Ch1,turn. Sc2tog. (1sc). Fasten Off. Weave in ends.
Repeat for 2nd ear.
For a neater look, join yarn and sc all the way around around.
The bow:
ch11
1.)sc in 2nd chain from hook and each chain across. (10sc)
2.)ch1, sc across. Repeat for about 4-5 rows. (10sc) F.O.
I then made a chain of 8 and secured it around the middle of the bow.

Pic to come in a bit!

Tennessee Granny Square Purse

24 Squares..whew. Didn't have anything for handles, so I crocheted two 3-strand chains for handles. I saw something similar online a while back and had to make my own version of it. Thinking of making some in other team colors and selling them around here. Wonder if anyone would want one???

Kitty Beanie Hat

H.K. beanie. Made the face separate and sewed onto the hat. Now my mom is wanting a h.k. scarf. I see Christmas presents in the works.

Another of Peypey's dresses.

This is a white and pink dress, diaper cover and shoes I made for baby girl to wear to church(she was only about 2-3 months old in these pics).
The pattern can be found here: Baby Girl Sleeper Set

Baby Headbands

I chained the length needed, dc in 3rd chain from hook and each chain across. Cut yarn leaving a tail for sewing the ends together.  I then made a flower and attatched it to the headband. Cuteness!

Peypey's Cuteness

Baby girl dressed up for church (almost 6 months old!). Just made it all up as I went based on things I've made before. The brown yarn is Caron Simply Soft. The pink was just some I had in my stash.
