It's FO Friday!

Here are a few of my recent FOs.

Kids Seamless Sweater. I decided not to do longer sleeves. This was fast and simple.

A knitted beanie. No pattern, just made up the color changes as I went along. It's not really that bright. Camera flash sucks sometimes.

Hubby got a Kindle for Christmas and needed a little something to help protect it from kids & scratches. I used a chart I found on Ravelry..however, I can't find the exact one again. The yarn is slightly fuzzy so it was hard to get a good pic.

Another hat for a friend's sister

I was asked to make another hat for a friend's sister. I had made her a black hat with a huge black flower a couple years ago. I was told she wears it all the time and is now wanting a cream one just like it. How could I say no. So, here it is. Hope she likes it! :-)

Etsy

I am happy to announce that I have opened an Etsy shop! There isn't much on it yet, but I have already made my first sell. It was one of my football beanies! Yay!
As of now, you can purchase a Football Beanie or a Crocheted Purse (in your choice of two colors).
The football hat would be a great gift for the guy(s) in your life. I have a few family members that love to wear theirs to the local high school football game on Friday night. I can also do custom orders for smaller sizes.
The purse would be nice as well. I have it listed as "in your team colors", obviously I made the orange and white one for Tennessee Vols, but you can choose any two colors for your team. Or, just any colors in general that you happen to want!

So, please take a moment to check it out!

Swirl hat

Made this for Memphis. It's the Swirl hat and can be found on Ravelry. It looks like a swirl of bright pink strawberry ice-cream....

Football Beanie Pattern

I'm sorry to have to post this. Unfortunately, there are too many people using my pattern to make money online when I specifically stated do not sell my pattern or items made with my pattern online. (I stated finished items may NOT be sold online...and I have seen exact copies everywhere online!) So, I regret to take this down from my blog, but it just irks me to no end that people will be so dishonorable. I had been making this hat for a few years and never once saw something online like it. That is why I decided to add it in the first place. I have, however, decided to sell MY pattern for $1.50 in PDF format on Ravelry.com. Again, I'm sorry to all those who respected my pattern. It's the bad apples that ruin it for everyone else. ~April

My BIL is in a band and they are having a show later this month. They are wanting me to make some beanies, wristers, etc for them to sell at the show. Sooo, I got to get to work! I have 1 completed so far and am half way on the 2nd hat.

I whipped this up while she was finally napping today...and made a quick flower to add to it as she was waking up. It is called Violet Cloche. Cuteness!

Kitty Beanie Hat

H.K. beanie. Made the face separate and sewed onto the hat. Now my mom is wanting a h.k. scarf. I see Christmas presents in the works.
